Zannan Pharma is a custom synthesis and process R&D company located in Shanghai, China. Zannan has state-of-the-art facilities and experienced chemists to work on diversity of R&D projects effectively. Dr. Zhan has served as President and CTO since Zannan founded in 2003, and his excellent R&D team has consisted of experienced Ph.D. and M.S. scientists in Organic, Medicinal, Catalysis, and Polymer Chemistry. Dr. Zhan received his Ph.D. with Prof. David Lynn from the University of Chicago and served as a post-doctoral fellow in Med. Chem. with Prof. Peter Dervan at California Institute of Technology, and also served as a research associate with Nobel Laureate Prof. Barry Sharpless at the Scripps Research Institute. Prior to joining Zannan, Dr. Zhan had worked at Schering-Plough and Array Biopharma in drug discovery and process development for 6 years. 　　 　　Currently, Zannan provides: (1) “Zhan (Ru) Catalysts” highly active for metathesis reactions; (2) High-quality API intermediates and catalog products; (3) Custom synthesis and FTE contract research from lab-scale to pilot; (4) Process R&D and manufacturing in China, which would facilitate the drug discovery and process development for our customers, who could save their efforts and cost. Moreover, Zannan Chemists also focus on development of the synthetic routes and methodologies (e.g., Zhan Catalysts for metathesis) for customer R&D projects.
